Wallace PM was appointed by the developer as the Project Manager and Superintendent for the design and construction of a new double-storey 92-place childcare and early learning center located on the corner of Camberwell and Berwick Streets in East Victoria Park.
The development spans two lots with a total site area of circa 1600m2 and required the demolition of existing residential properties. The development features large outdoor play areas on both the ground floor and upper level which includes nature inspired playscape that inspires children’s creativity and assists to develop gross-motor skills. This included the retention and protection of four mature trees to provide shading and streetscape amenity.
Access to childcare is in high-demand in WA and this development is vital in providing an essential service to the community.
Wallace PM were successful in obtaining Development Approval from the Town of East Victoria Park despite strong community opposition and undertook the procurement of the Contractor and management of the design and construction process.
